Belif Canada: A truth serum for your natural skincare routine

Belif Canada Canadian Beauty Blog Ottawa fashion blogger

A few weeks ago, I switched up my skincare routine to test out a new Korean skincare line. Belif uses an old apothecary approach for all its products and promises a clean and natural experience. Each container displays a guarantee that products do not contain artificial dies, fragrances, preservatives, mineral oils, or animal byproducts (vegan). The products are also free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates, preservatives known to be bad for the environment and linked to cancer.

Nothing excites me more than testing face cream and moisturizers this time of the year, because my skin is so dry from fluctuating temperatures. I have had a chance to dabble in all the products that were sent my way, and hope to share an honest review to help you with your quest for a new natural skin care routine.

Creamy cleansing foam moist– $29

This cleanser consists of a very rich and thick formula, so you only need a pea size amount for your entire face. This container will literally last you years! It has a deliciously herbal scent to it and not overly drying. I keep it in my shower, to remind me to wash my face more!

Hungarian water essence– $51

I love serum, you know this if you follow my beauty posts. This one is light and watery and adds that perfect level of moisture and hydration. I use before moisturizing.

The true cream – moisturizing bomb– $47

I love this moisturizer! It’s a lightweight yet rich formula that is perfectly suited for day or night use. It promises to retain moisture for up to 26 hours. I’ll use it on the days that I feel very dry, or after cleansing.

The true cream – aqua bomb– $47

The aqua bomb formula is very light and almost gel-like and very refreshing. I will use this one more in the summer, when I opt for a lighter moisturizer that focuses on hydration.

Overnight brightening mask- $39

I wish I had more energy at night to use up all my face masks. But since I don’t have time, this overnight brightening mask is super convenient. You apply it on at night and rinse it off in the morning! You can use it twice a week for more radiant skin or if you need extra moisture at night. Make sure you avoid the eye area though.
