I am happy to announce that I will be representing on the #StyleSquad at RBC Ottawa Bluesfest this year! We will be covering festival fashion for 6 days. If you see one of us, pose for the iphone and let them capture the moment. We will be sharing the best of the best on social media and Ottawa Newspapers.
Here is what you have to worry about:
Get your RBC Bluesfest tickets early!
Look up some Festival Fashion favourites and find your look! I discovered an awesome booth in the Byward market in front of the Keg with an excellent selection (see pic above)! Remember #supportlocal when you can.
Join me on June 20th, for this year’s hottest summer event, BASH NOIR, in support of the Ottawa Snowsuit Fund. Get your tickets before they sell out!
The Snowsuit fund is an Ottawa-based charity that raises funds for the purchase and distribution of new snowsuits to needy children in our community. For more information, visit www.snowsuitfund.com.

But the true question remains… what shall I wear to the affair? I guess you will have to tune in and see! Or just buy your ticket already!
Do you have a go-to favourite outfit that you know will work? For me this year it’s totally the denim blouse (also called chambray) with a full skirt. Something casual on top paired with something feminine on the bottom. I totally love that look. You will see me repeat-offending this one for sure. Guilty.
I am standing outside of the Mayfair Theater in Old Ottawa South on Bank Street. It also started snowing that day! I was frozen, but kept my composure… at least I tried to! My proudest moment was getting so many looks and a few honks. It’s kind of corny, but it made me feel important and sexy! haha
I’m in Toronto for my friend’s wedding and this week’s challenge was to find an outfit!
Because the weather is so nice, I opted out of wearing my little black dress that I can now squeeze into. The material is heavy and more appropriate for cooler climates.
I pulled out the H&M dress that I received from the #hmconsciouscloset event. I really like it, but wasn’t in the mood for a bohemian look. I paired it with a thick black and leather belt (purchased in Paris) and strappy leather sandals (Hilary Radley- vintage).
I then tried a green H&M dress from last summer’s collection. I love this thing! It’s feminine and forgiving 🙂 Although it doesn’t accentuate my new curves, I’m feeling confident in the dress regardless. I paired it with my favourite blue Nine West Pumps and silver Ela clutch I bought in Vancouver.
I have the share a blooper… This just shows you what a blogger’s life really looks like behind the lense!
