Wellness shouldn’t be a word we just throw around and take for granted. It’s a guilt-free lifestyle that needs to be practiced consciously and be a part of every aspect of our daily living. Wellness has the ability to keep us calm, relaxed, productive, successful and healthy: mentally, emotionally and physically.
In this post, I’ll share 6 wellness tips I learned from Ford Canada on a road trip to Montebello.
Last Friday, Michael and I had the pleasure of staying at Elements Luxury Tented Camp, near Renfrew. This all-inclusive outdoor hotel is located about 1 hour and 15 minutes outside Ottawa and has been running for over two years now. It’s been on my bucket list for a while, and this year I decided to bite the bullet and book it for my (early) birthday. We stayed one night, but I would recommend splurging for the entire weekend. There are so many activities like yoga and paddleboarding that we did not have a chance to indulge in. We did eat though, A LOT!
On August 15th, Michael and I celebrated our 8-year wedding anniversary at the Andaz Hotel in Ottawa. We were given this lovely experience in exchange for an open and honest review. Thank you to the kind and caring staff at the Andaz Hotel Ottawa who took excellent care of us and made this night especially magical. To capture the memories, I hired Ottawa photographer Kamara Morozuk for a couple’s session. Here is a recap of our stay.
Let’s set the record straight, before anyone gets their tail in a tizzy… Parc Omega is NOT A ZOO! It’s a natural museum, where wild animals live in their natural habitat and get to interact with humans in an ethical and civilized way… a magical experience for both humans and animals. This weekend, my family and I received a private tour of the park with Park Director and spokesperson, Uncle Serge. After the tour and exploring the park for the entire day, we stayed overnight in one of their brand new log cabins, a new addition to their suite of rustic accommodations. Thank you to Park Omega for the lovely hospitality.
