This year I turned 35, and for the first time in my life, I see my skin starting to age, particularly the fine lines around my eyes and the deep lines in my forehead. It seems to get worse in the afternoon, when I am extra dehydrated! The thing is, I have mixed feelings about it. Part of me wants to call it quits and get Botox, and the other part of me wants to attempt to reverse and slow down the signs of aging with healthier habits and a stronger skincare routine. When Canadian cosmetics brand, Mériance Collagen reached out to me to test their anti-aging skin care line, I knew this beauty assignment was the perfect opportunity to distract my Botox craving.
Before I go on, I’d like to say that I have nothing against Botox and fillers, and I imagine I will get it at some point in my life. I’m just not ready to start right now, that’s all.
News flash, I have dry skin. I know you guys are tired of me saying it, but such is life. If you suffer from dry skin during the winter months, which I am almost sure everyone does, you can understand why I am on a quest to trying every brand and every product out there! On this post, I get to share the many reasons why I love my new Clarins skin care routine and why it may be a great solution for your dry skin needs this winter!
I realise I am a bit late to the party, since the recent announcement that Glossier is now shipping to Canada. Between the holidays, the lack of daylight (to take pictures), reviewing other products, working on my new Youtube channel, actually testing out products and just being plain old busy… I haven’t had the chance to share my favourite products from Glossier! Before I begin, if you use my Glossier promo code you can save 10% off your order!
Want to see what favourite products are in my vanity right now? I promise it’s only the best skin care products available in 2017 and most of them are for dry skin! Because I get a lot of products from companies, rather than doing a sponsored post or review, I wanted to talk about the stuff I am actually using, and why! Watch the full video here:
