I was approached by Krowd Magazine for another Street Style feature a few months ago. This time it was for their Maple Issue, released just in time for Canada Day! I am so excited to finally share these pics with you!
The perfect floral plus-size romper that I am going to abuse this summer! It’s got gorgeous bell sleeves, a flattering v neck and open slit back. And the floral print is absolutely stunning! At $21.90, you can not go wrong! The best part is that this design actually fits the torso! But be warned to go one size up in the Forever 21 plus line.
I did a huge haul at Forever 21 plus last week and I can’t wait to share my purchases with you! But for now, all you need to know is that I bought this and you should too!
According to Wikipedia “the French word, Mule, is a style of shoe that is backless and often closed-toed. Mules can be any heel height – from flat to high.”
My main goal this spring, was to get my hands on the perfect neutral pair. Something that would go with any outfit, something comfortable that I can actually wear all day and not regret it as soon as I am in the car! Before we dig in further, let’s start with a little fashion history lesson. These are always my favourite.
OK, this description seems a little bit dramatic, although what history lesson isn’t. I can’t imagine a woman wearing these heels be considered a prostitute. Let me guess… I bet a man was involved in either writing that description and coming up with that garbage.
Anyway, before I get on my feminist horse, I wanted to show you what I’ll be wearing soon (but first, please cross your fingers for this April snow to melt away). So here they are folks my new Emu Australia mules, this is the “Burleigh” style in Mushroom colour.
I purposely went for something neutral in tone to not only elongate the leg, but to offer versatility. With the popularity of the boho style making a comeback this summer, I’m sure I’ll get lots of wear out of them!
At a cool $159, you can’t go wrong.
On Friday I presented “Holiday Gifts for the Girl who has Everything” on CTV Morning Live (Ottawa).
Basically, I put together my entire Christmas wish list and shared it on national television (Ha!).

I pulled everything from Fashion United, Ottawa’s premier fashion boutique! I love going there! They have an amazing selection of shoes, bags, clothes and accessories. They carry high-end brands like Marc Jacobs, Rebecca Minkoff, Kate Spade, Longchamp, Marccain and Michael Kors. This is quite rare in Ottawa, which is why this boutique really excites me.
Check out the segment and let me know what you think! I’m happy to give you any ideas. Don’t be shy and ask me your questions in the comments below!
