I was never much a fan of the colour burgundy. It was one of the colours in my high school uniform, that could explain it. But now, I love it! On my nails, on my lips… and in a bag. I need a Marsala bag. Maybe it’s because Marsala is the official 2015 colour of the year, according to Pantone. We truly saw it everywhere this summer; in wedding bouquets and bridesmaid dresses no less. It’s funny how something can grow on you, once you get used to it and see it enough times. On that note, I put together some of my favourite pieces for fall, including makeup, jewellery, accessories, shoes and bags! The colour pallet is mostly camel brown, gold, black and MARSALA! Have fun screen shopping!
I was very excited to be invited to the PR event held by Rudsak to launch their new store in Carrefour Laval in North Montreal on September 9, 2015. Rudsak is a Canadian brand of luxury leather goods, launched by creative visionary Evik Asatoorian in 1994.
I dragged my sister for the 2 hour car ride from Ottawa and spent a lovely 24 hrs in Montreal (more on that later!).
Rudsak partnered with Emily Haines of Metric. Emily customized four leather jackets that were raffled off at all new Rudsak store openings across Canada: Carrefour Laval (Montreal), St-Catherine store (Montreal), Eaton Centre (Toronto) and Market mall (Calgary). You can follow the campaign under #RockRudsak on Twitter and Instagram.

This is Symone Peredur, one of two gals from The Polished Pretties. I like her style, so I asked her some questions.
What’s your passion for fashion? My passion for fashion started when I realized that being fashionable wasn’t exclusive to a certain type of look. As a petit curve I found it EXTREMELY difficult to find outfits that looked cute and fashionable at the same time , but as soon as I got the hang of it I realized that fashion allows me to be creative and express my personality in different ways that doesn’t limit me to my size or height and i just love that!
What XLusive tip can you share? An Xclusive fashion tip that I wish I knew when I started was learning how to pick key pieces ( I should have listened to my mom lol). Key pieces for me are basic tanks, classic blazers and pretty jewelry. Staple pieces (these are usually pricey but so worth it ) and LOTS of dresses.
This is Laura of The Fashion Kidd. I like her style, so I ask her a few questions.
What’s your passion for fashion? I like how clothes can have the ability to express my personality. Getting dressed in the morning is something I look forward to. Each day is a fresh start and opportunity to look however I want.
What XLusive tip can you share? If you like it, just wear it. Be uniquely you. People always think they have to follow rules or dress for other people when really there are no rules and you should just dress for you.
