There is no better way to test-drive new products, then showering or getting ready at a friend’s house… wouldn’t you agree? Those unplanned sleep overs, leaving you at the mercy of new products, can offer a unique opportunity to explore different brands of shampoo, face cream and cleansers you would otherwise ignore at the store.
I nearly fell off my chair when I got an email from Moose Knuckles, who wanted to collaborate with me. I was thinking “what? who me?… is this fake news? fake email?”… I just couldn’t accept that a huge Canadian brand like this, would choose to have little old me parading in their luxurious garments. Well, my friends… the collab is real and so is my love for these jackets! I have been dying to get a Moose Knuckles winter coat. It’s been on my list for a few years, and although this post features jackets that are more spring/summer/fall appropriate, maybe this is my chance to get that much closer to crossing off my wish list!
As most of you already know, Katie from Yow City Style have joined the Lawn Summer Nights Ottawa Lawn Bowling tournament this year with our husbands. We call ourselves ‘The Bowl & Chains’ and our mission is to raise to $2000 this summer in support of Cystic Fibrosis.
We headed to Quebec City this past weekend for a bit of rest, quality family time and a long overdue family reunion. I was offered the opportunity to test-drive the 2017 Lincoln MKX, so I turned this family getaway into a mini press tour. We had a media stay at the Hotel Chateau Laurier on the Grande Allee in downtown Quebec City, just steps away from Old Quebec, the Citadel and the port. There is so much to do, see and eat in Quebec so I will do my best to recap our awesome vacation as briefly as possible.
