Look no further, I found the perfect black lace bralette that will actually hold your girls in and cover your cleavage! Unless of course that is not what you are looking to do.
I was searching high and low for a bralette that I could wear under tops that have a deep neckline or my romper that crosses over the chest. You and I both know that the cross top never has enough coverage and I don’t want my girls peaking through the sides.
So, to thank my readers for sticking around, I decided to post a pic of me in the bra! It’s so delicate and pretty that I want to wear it out in public, just like that!
This bra is size X at Addition Elle, which fits like a Large/XL in other stores and is only $40. I am also told the lingerie line at Addition Elle fits one size smaller than normal. In the last picture, you can see how the delicate lace in the back is thick enough to actually cover your back and not get wedged under the rolls! hahaha
It’s no surprise that the Ottawa Fashion scene is experiencing a renaissance like no other. Almost every mall is under construction with major renovations ahead. There is no need to cross the border; the US or Quebec’s for that matter. Ottawa shopping has changed, and so should your routine!
I pulled together a handful of new shops that have opened up, and some that will soon!
Hudson’s Bay next to the Rideau centre has done a massive overhaul. They have recently opened Ottawa’s first Topshop and Topman. This #LONDSTYLE inspired brand provides a nice variety of trendy pieces at a mid price range.
Simons will be opening their second store in the area, inside Rideau Centre sometime this summer (August 2016)
H&M will be launching an online store soon for Canada! This means you Ottawa gals can get your hands on H&M’s plus-size line, and you don’t have to shlep to Place d’Orleans to get it! Also, this means more sizes available at your fingertips! I will keep you gals posted of the progress, as there are no dates confirmed yet!
I can’t believe it’s all over. Weeks, days and hours of prepping and pulling clothes, all for my 4 minutes of fame. And I loved every second of it! I had the opportunity to style for a CTV Morning Live segment on Fall Fashion trends with Addition Elle. You can watch it here.
My overall approach with styling for this fall is to choose clothing items that are versatile, warm and comfortable. Everything in your wardrobe should be appropriate for work or play. And when you’re shopping, make sure you chose lots of great pieces that you can mix and match.
Fall Fashion Trends 2015: Accessories- large coats, floppy felt hat, ankle booties
Colours- burgundy, forest green, grey, black
Textures- wool, quilt, leather, viscose, distressed denim
Styles- edgy, layering
Addition Elle really made my job easy. They have such an impressive selection of clothes that comes in size 12 to 24. Their looks are on trend, affordable and all of the pieces go really well together. I didn’t realize that Addition Elle also carries a ton of accessories and shoes (Bonus!!)! Everything is well thought out and designed for larger women. Shoes have more room, bracelets are larger… it’s the little things that make a huge difference.
Here are my five looks:
A big shout out to the girls at Addition Elle from the Train Yards location. They were super organized and got me set up for all of this. Thanks ladies!
