Last night, Ottawa had a chance to celebrate a piece of New York Fashion Week with Club Monaco at CF Rideau Centre. Once again, Club Monaco nails it out of the park with elegant, feminine and classic designs for their Spring/Summer 2017 collection. The line was inspired by the French documentary Latcho Drom , which follows a family of travelers as they journey from Romania to India. Club Monaco remains true to their signature urban style, and manages to weave in the notable Gypsy details, like peasant tops, bells and frills, all inspired by the film.

It seems to make everything more elegant, more flirty and more fun. Although impractical at the office, and sometimes a pain under your jacket, my heart still longs for bell sleeves and frills all day long.
The 2 items you need to nail this winter fashion trend
I won’t make you read the whole post, I’ll just tell you straight up: you will need ripped boyfriend jeans and fishnet stocking to nail this winter fashion trend.
Ottawa Life Magazine’s #OttawaStyle series features fellow Ottawa Fashion Bloggers
I got THE email, you know the one. The one you sit around waiting for, the one you think will change your career.

DUH- Of course, I said yes, and immediately starting panicking… WHAT WILL I WEAR? After a few deep breaths, I reminded myself that I need to be me, and wear something that my readers would recognize me in! My signature style.
