Today, I’m sharing my favourite bell sleeve dress fashion trend for winter 2017. Whether it comes in a blouse, sweater, jumper or dress, I want it all! It seems to make everything more elegant, more flirty and more fun. Although impractical at the office, and sometimes a pain under your jacket, my heart still longs for bell sleeves and frills all day long.
What I am wearing
I fell in love with this army green bell sleeve dress (similar), when I discovered Elvi, a plus size UK brand. They had a mega sale after Christmas, and I took a risk and paid the duties to ship over some really great pieces. I love that the dress is somewhat short, and helps to accentuate the legs.
I paired the dress with black leather and pony Solsana ankle booties (similar) and my new Coach yellow and black zebra pony hair purse (similar).
For my makeup, I used the Tarte Swamp Queen Eye & Cheek Palette and Kat Von D liquid lipstick.

Yup, I haven’t forgotten about you, yes you, the practical fashionista! If you want to take on this bell sleeve fashion trend and give your look some warmth, you may want to consider these warm winter styling tips:
- Wear thick and warm tights under the dress, or even leather leggings
- Grab your favourite fur vest and wear it on top of the dress
- For extra warmth, wear a turtleneck under the dress. It will peak under the sleeves which is super fun!
