I nearly fell off my chair when I got an email from Moose Knuckles, who wanted to collaborate with me. I was thinking “what? who me?… is this fake news? fake email?”… I just couldn’t accept that a huge Canadian brand like this, would choose to have little old me parading in their luxurious garments. Well, my friends… the collab is real and so is my love for these jackets! I have been dying to get a Moose Knuckles winter coat. It’s been on my list for a few years, and although this post features jackets that are more spring/summer/fall appropriate, maybe this is my chance to get that much closer to crossing off my wish list!
I won’t make you read the whole post, I’ll just tell you straight up: you will need ripped boyfriend jeans and fishnet stocking to nail this winter fashion trend.
If you were following my blog last year, you know that winter fashion street style inspiration currently on Instagram or Pinterest is not a true depiction of practical winter attire. With this in mind, I wanted to style something that was both exciting and warm, fun and functional!
I got together with Ottawa Photographer Kamara Morozuk, who doesn’t necessarily do street style photography (although she nailed it!) but has found her true passion in live concert photography.
