This time of the year calls for the “Dryfecta”. It’s a brutal combination of the cold weather, the dry air from indoor heating and if you’re fortunate enough, post-vacation suntanned skin. That’s what I have right now. I just came back from my trip to Hawaii and I am in dire need of Vichy’s moisture cocoon routine to nurture and hydrate my dry skin back to good vibrant health. With a combination of drinking loads of water (using a fun bottle of course!), blasting a humidifier in every room, and hitting “loop” on my Vichy routine… I think I got this!
Makeup remover is a personal thing. Some like it milky, some like it creamy, some like it oily, some don’t clean their makeup off before going to bed…you catch my drift. Disclaimer: I am guilty of the latter from time to time. I know, it’s gross, but I’m lazy.
I received Biotherm Blue Therapy cream-in-oil face moisturizer a few months ago and have been using it sporadically, between the other products that I am testing. I need time to play with products before I can really review them. I know you would expect nothing less from this biochemistry student!
First, I didn’t realize that this was such a luxurious creme, only because I assumed I wasn’t fancy enough to receive it for free! Lesson learned – stop assuming! It retails at $79.
Hold the phone- it’s Christmas in 6 sleeps and I still haven’t done all my shopping! Yikes, talk about last-minute. Am I alone here, or what?
Personally, it’s not the shopping that takes time, it’s the thinking process. I actually take more time to choose the right gift for the person, because I believe strongly in the ‘thought’ that counts part. You will never see me aimlessly wandering the malls, looking for that perfect gift. I do a LOT of research online to find neat gift ideas, whether it’s the latest in gadget trends or even innovative beauty products that I could buy someone or put on my Christmas list.
